Guidance for charities
A major function of the Charities Commission is to provide charitable organisations with guidance. Our guidance comes in two different forms: guidance for the registration process under the Charities Act, and (in the future), guidance on good practice and governance.

The Charities Register is now open to receive applications for registration from charitable organisations.
