Regional forums

During 2010, the Commission ran a series of regional forums to engage with charities. They were well-received, so another series is being planned for mid-2011.

The forums are an opportunity for charities to hear about relevant topics and engage with the Commission, and for charities to help identify and access resources that will help them to become more effective in delivering their charitable purpose.

Annual Meeting and Forum for Charities

Every year the Commission provides opportunities for charities to meet with members of the Commission, so you can to find out more about its work, and ask questions.

One opportunity is the Annual Meeting and forum for charities, at which the Commission presents its Annual Report, and hosts charities who wish to learn more about an aspect of the qualities of an effective charity (or other topic relevant to the sector).

As part of the Annual Meeting and forum, the Commission generally invites a keynote speaker and discussion panel, and charities can also hear from the Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector (or her representative).
