Inland Revenue discussion document - Streaming and refundability of imputation credits
The discussion document seeks views on whether the law should allow limited streaming of imputation credits to those who can use them and refunds of credits for charities and other tax-exempt entities.
The closing date for submissions has been extended to 24 October 2008.
Charities Commission submission - in support of charities being able to obtain the financial benefit that can be derived from imputation credits.

The Non-profit Institutions Satellite Account: 2004 published by Statistics New Zealand, provides the first comprehensive economic view of non-profit institutions in New Zealand. The satellite account provides information on the number, size and structure of non-profit institutions, as well as their contribution to key economic indicators such as gross domestic product (GDP).
