After the Charities Commission decided to deregister the National Council of Women of New Zealand in June 2016, the Charities Registration Board registered the National Council of Women of New Zealand (the Trust). This is the reasons for registration.

The original deregistration decision is also available.

The decision to backdate the application to the date of this application, rather than the original application, was appealed. The Court agreed to backdate the Trust to its original registration date. This decision is available.
