Reregistering with the New Zealand Companies Office

A guide for registered charities that are also incorporated societies

On 29 May 2025 Charities Services are hosting a webinar with the New Zealand Companies Office to discuss the requirement for incorporated societies to reregister with the New Zealand Companies Office before 5 April 2026.

This webinar is designed for registered charities that are also incorporated societies, who have not yet reregistered with the New Zealand Companies Office.

What we'll cover:

• The new Incorporated Societies Act 2022
• The requirement to reregister
• The consequences of not reregistering.

The webinar will run from 12pm – 1pm with an opportunity for you to ask questions. A recording of the webinar will be available afterwards.
